Full & Part-time Cook
Job description
We are looking for a Cook to join our Brewery team in the Kitchen. This Position will be lead cook when on shift. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team and follow health and safety rules in the kitchen.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Set up workstations and ingredients, so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
Prepare all ingredients at beginning and throughout shift.
Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
Prepare meals for customers and pay attention to presentation
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
Manage inventory and order ingredients as necessary
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen
Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
A team player with good communication skills
Able to lift up to 30Lbs
Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
Must be 18 and have reliable transportation
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
