Lime Sally Citrus Ale is a bright and light-bodied blonde ale, infused with real lime and orange. Ultra-crushable and a summer favorite, it’s perfect for any outdoor adventure—whether you’re by the river, on the golf course, or just relaxing in your favorite chair.
Come July 1st, the first REAL heat of summer begins to bake the Eastern slopes of the Rockies. This is when the raging waters of runoff recede and clear. This kicks off the hatch of the diminutive and often overlooked little Yellow and Lime Sally Stonefly.
Encounters with this little bug can happen any time throughout the summer when you are near the rivers in this area. And the trout that we look for are always looking for the Sally.
This beer was designed for easy drinking in the heat of summer and we are proud to have this little bug as our mascot!
Next time you are out and about during the summer take a minute and hang out by the river. You might just be graced with the appearance of a little lime coloured Stonefly.
